PYZEL SURFBOARDS BECOMES B CORP CERTIFIED
Pyzel Surfboards is proud to be the first surfboard manufacturer to become a certified B Corporation. Since inception, Pyzel has been working towards improvements to not only be a successful business, but to also work towards a better future in all aspects of their impact with customers, retailers, vendors and employees.
Becoming a certified B Corp is the first step in a continued process of holding businesses accountable to high standards of sustainability, social responsibility and transparency against stated goals in order to drive change and improvements in everything they do. This milestone is just the beginning of a journey to use business as a force for change.
Having this seal of approval from B Labs that the company is on the right path and that they are meeting their rigorous standards for positive social and environmental impact motivates Pyzel and all B Lab approved businesses to keep pushing and improving.
“To me, building our business into something we can be proud of and ensuring that it incorporates our values has always been important.” states Dali Pyzel, co-founder Pyzel Surfboards, “There is a saying that, what gets measured gets done, and using the B certification process as a measuring stick holds us accountable to keep improving, which is what we wanted.”
Pyzel has worked hard towards achieving their B Corp certification which only covers operations in the United States and they hope that all of their international partners and even other brands globally will incorporate it into their businesses as well in the future.
Pyzel is open and available to assist anyone interested in starting the B Corp certification process to help the surfboard industry make the commitment to use their businesses for good and drive change.
