How can I request a return?

To request a return on any order, create or login to your Pyzel account and submit a return request on your recent order through the link below (make sure you log into your account with the email address your order was placed with).

Once requested, we will approve or decline your return based off the information below, please review before submitting a request. 

Non-Surfboard (Gear) Returns & Refunds.

Clothing/accessories/gear orders can be refunded, swapped, or returned if the item is unused/new, has packaging and tags attached and is within 30 days of purchase.

Gear orders that qualified for free shipping to a customer do not qualify for free return shipping. A return shipping charge of $10 for smaller items or more for oversized items (depending on the size) will be reduced from your total order refund amount. 

Once your return request is approved, we will send you a return shipping label and the return shipping price will be deducted from your total refund. 

Surfboard Returns, Refunds & Cancellations:

Please ensure your order is correct before you finish and pay. Orders canceled or unridden surfboards returned within 72 hours of the time it was placed will be charged a 5% processing fee. Custom surfboard orders canceled after 72 hours will be charged a restocking fee based on the size, construction, and how far along it is in production. This is to cover to money and time spent working on your board as soon as you placed the order.

For changes to an order, please reach out to us immediately at sales@pyzelsurfboards.com . Changes to orders 72 hours after placed are not guaranteed as the blank for your board might have been already cut and moved along the process. Please reach out to us for any questions on changes to your board. 

Can I return an unridden surfboard?

Unridden surfboards must be returned to your closest Pyzel Surfboards factory/store within 72 hours after purchase (for shipped boards, 72 hours after receiving the board), and you will be charged a 5% processing fee.  If a board was shipped, boards will be returned via Fedex (air cargo is unavailable for returns). This return shipment will require a quote and the difference will be deducted from your refund. In the event that a board is damaged in return shipment, we will deduct any repair costs from the refund. Refunds are issued once the board is received and verified as unridden & damage free. Returns are only valid for boards purchased directly from Pyzel Surfboards. Any boards paid in cash, but require return shipping will be issued a store credit for the cost of the board.

Is my board under warranty?

Once your surfboard is delivered or picked up safely, Pyzel Surfboards is not responsible for any damages. In the case that your item seems to have a manufacturers defect, please reach out to us immediately at sales@pyzelsurfboards.com and we will further investigate the cause of said defect. We do not guarantee any warranty for our products until we have confirmed that it qualifies for a manufacerers defect. Surfboards with dark colors, for example, are more prone to delamination when left in direct sunlight or heat and will not be considered a manufacturer defect. We advise purchasing a white or lighter colored board, however all surfboards should not be left in any direct sunlight or heat when removed from the water due to delamination. 

Warranty claims will be dealt with case by case by Pyzel Surfboards.
