What is the Velocity Project?

The Velocity Project will be a fun take Jon's incredible performance designs and put them towards something different to give our customers a new flare to their surfing. We figured what better way to start than with a new take on a classic surfboard. Mid lengths have been around for decades and are booming now more than ever, but the Mid Length Crisis offers that incredibly fast/flowing performance side to what you thought was just your average mid length.
It has a beautiful foil from nose to tail, with a rolled deck that leaves the meat in the middle of the board to help with paddling and nicely thinned out rails for sensitivity and bite. The Mid Length Crisis also has a semi-traditional, wide-point forward outline that is sleek and racey for fast, down-the-line drive, but full bodied enough to provide added stability and glide in weaker, slower waves.
