DJ is as core surfboard building as you can get. Moving to San Diego right after he finished high school, his passion and ambition for board building has been growing ever since and his partnership with Jon has helped the Pyzel name grow exponentially, we couldn't do it without him!

As our head shaper in Oceanside, DJ oversee's not only our other CA shapers and glassers, but every single surfboard that comes through our CA doors. DJ's attention to detail and never-ending care for making sure every Pyzel is up to our standards and built to perform is what makes this company credible, especially with multiple factories in North America.

DJ's magic hands help shape Pyzels for our customers and team riders alike, helping get our mainland team like Nolan, Taro & more that magic board in time for every contest or strike mission.
