Retail & Ecommerce Assistant - Oceanside, CA

JOB DESCRIPTION 

In this role you will be responsible for the retail & ecommerce space of Pyzel Surfboards. This includes day-to-day responsibilities of the Pyzel Oceanside Showroom and PyzelSurfboards.com. Tasks include but are not limited to fulfilling online orders, helping in-store/over-the-phone customers, reordering/restocking products in-store/online, and extra customer service involvement.

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversight and management of inbound and outbound customer service communications through Pyzel California in-store, over the phone & through HelpDesk, managing Live Chat.

  • Fulfilling customers & online orders as they come in through pyzelsurfboards.com, in-store & over the phone.

  • Receiving PO’s and keeping track of merchandise products and inventory through in store and online inventories.

  • Cleaning/keeping showroom tidy & presentable.

  • Custom order review with the customer to ensure everything is correct prior to custom surfboard production.

  • Working with distribution team on outgoing orders, returns, warranty’s & more.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proficient in MS Office/Google Work Suite & Excel/Sheets

  • Competency in learning new web management systems (Shaperbuddy & Shopify). 

  • Competency in Store & Online Inventory Management

  • 5 years minimum action sports sales and/or customer service management experience preferred, advanced surfboard knowledge

  • Knowledge of customer service systems and platforms

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

  • 33 Hours a week

  • Paid Hourly

  • Schedule: 10AM-5PM Tuesday - Friday, 9AM-2PM Saturday
